Beach Republic Takes Top Honors at the 2011 Thanachart Bank Thailand Property Awards
December 6th, 2011 Bangkok, Thailand
Beach Republic The Residences was crowned a winner at the sixth annual 2011 Thanachart Bank Thailand Property Awards held during a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok, Thailand.

The most prestigious and sought after acknowledgement of excellence in Thailand's property and real estate industry, the Thanachart Bank Thailand Property Awards are the benchmark for quality and showcase the best of the best.

This year the public submitted for consideration over 1,300 companies and developments across 31 categories. Of these, just 80 were shortlisted and subjected to a rigorous review process. Nominated in the category of Best Shared Ownership Development, Beach Republic The Residences was named the winner for the second consecutive year.

In attendance were over 600 CEO's, managing directors, developers and other senior management figures from the national and regional property sector. Among them was Khun Nathapol Luepromchai, a Senior Vice President, at Thanachart Bank Plc who commented on the importance of the occasion:

"These awards not only guarantee the quality of projects that bring great pride to the developers, but from the client's perspective, recognizing award-winning projects help investors and buyers make an easier purchase decision as all the winners have been through a tough selection process by the judges..."

Also in attendance was Habitat for Humanity CEO Chamnarn Wangtal. The organization held a fundraiser at the awards and raised 400,000 Baht for the construction of two new houses for flood victims in nearby Lopburi. Beach Republic was happy to contribute 50,000 Baht to the cause as part of its wider Giving Back charity initiative.

The victory was the latest in a string of accolades for Beach Republic The Residences, which since winning at the Thailand Property Awards in November of 2010 has been named one of South East Asia's top 20 resorts by Property Report, awarded the Silver Medal at the Overseas Property Professionals (OPP) Awards for Excellence in the United Kingdom, and just last week was Highly Commended in the Best Shared Ownership Category at the inaugural South East Asia Property Awards in Singapore.

Having been named the winner for two years in a row at the Thanachart Bank Thailand Property Awards, Beach Republic The Residences is now firmly established as the leading shared ownership development in Thailand. Beach Republic Director of Sales, Robert Pestello was quoted as saying:

"It's an honor to again be recognized by our peers as the premier shared ownership development in Thailand. I believe the judges appreciated exactly what so many of our owners love stunning private pool villas and penthouses, top of the line facilities at Asia's hippest ocean club, extremely strong branding, a highly attractive investment opportunity, and a very straightforward and low-key sales approach. I feel so privileged to be a part of this organization and I look forward to returning to the awards again next year".

Shared or fractional ownership at Beach Republic allows an individual to purchase real estate without assuming any of the burdens that often come with sole ownership. It is especially attractive to those who want to make use of a holiday home for only a few weeks or months a year. Increasingly it is also attracting investors who see returns via rental income and capital appreciation.

All owners at Beach Republic The Residences enjoy privileged VIP access to the adjacent Beach Republic Ocean Club and Spa, which itself has been the subject of recent praise from the international media with the New York Times and CNNGo.com both calling it a must-visit destination.

The Beach Republic sales office is located on site at the ocean club entrance and is open 8.30am to 6pm, 7 days a week.
