Beach Republic Named Best Shared Ownership Development at the
Thailand Property Awards 2010
6th November, 2010 Bangkok, Thailand
Beach Republic, the ocean club, resort and residences located on the island of Koh Samui was named the Best Shared Ownership Development at the prestigious Fifth Annual Thailand Property Awards held at the Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok. The awards ceremony and gala dinner was attended by over 500 VIP guests comprised of the industry's premier agents, developers, and architects.

The Thailand Property Awards are recognized as the industry's premier awards event and celebrate the best of the best, showcasing the residential real estate industry while assisting in promoting the quality of Thailand's real estate, construction, architectural and interior design. The awards are highly coveted by real estate agents, property developers, interior designers and architects. This year there were over 1,400 entries across the 29 categories.

Nominated for the award of Best Shared Ownership Development alongside shortlisted candidates that included the exclusive Banyan Tree and highly regarded Absolute Bangla Suites, the esteemed panel of judges named Beach Republic the winner.

Finding the development to be a unique concept with a most innovative use of space, excellent location and very good value for money, the judges were also impressed by the strength and attractiveness of the brand.

Upon being presented with the award, Robert Pestello, Beach Republic's Director of Sales was quoted as saying:

"We have worked hard to create a development that is truly unique and special. We always knew that we had a great product at an extremely attractive price. For this to be recognized by our peers and industry professionals at Thailand's premier Property Awards - especially considering the strength of the other nominees - makes everyone here extremely proud. I want to thank the judges for taking the time to visit the resort and learn more about what we have to offer and I want to thank the team at Beach Republic for helping to make this award possible."

Fractional ownership at Beach Republic allows an individual to purchase real estate without assuming any of the burdens that often come with sole ownership. All owners enjoy the various services and amenities of the deluxe resort.

This form of real estate ownership is especially attractive to those who want to make use of a holiday home for only a few weeks or months a year. Increasingly it is also attracting investors who see returns via rental income and capital appreciation.

The brainchild of British real estate developer Tim Dean-Smith, Beach Republic opened in early 2009 and consists of 39 private pool villas, deluxe suites, and penthouse sky pool villas. The ocean front beach club plays host to world-class entertainers, Samui's most highly rated Sunday Brunch, and a unique weekly line up of events. Plans for expansion throughout Thailand and to other locations in South East Asia are currently underway.
